First stop, home

You should see my to-do list. I have so many things I want to get done before Brandon and I head to the west coast. Actually, I have some big news to share, but not until I have more solid research and information, so stay tuned!

I am in Michigan visiting with family and friends while Brandon is in Colorado continuing to fix the truck. It's been a real beast of a project for him.
I, on the other hand, get to puppy sit and watch shows, ha. Okay, okay, there is a little more to it than that, but I definitely feel like I'm on vacation. Queue lovely classical music set to the background noise of dogs rough housing, while I sit drinking tea, smiling contentedly. (Just kidding, I'm heading back to that massive to-do list I first mentioned.)

Restarting life

Here is a long overdue renewal of what's going on in my life.
Over the past few years I finished nursing school, lived in Philadelphia, and now I am living in Denver. Life has certainly had its ups and downs, but I decided it's time for a change.

I bought a camper, and now I am living in it.

There are a few reasons for this.
1) Brandon and I were not in a great living situation.
2) We were struggling to save up enough money to put a down payment on a house.
3) We weren't sure what state we wanted to buy a house in.
4) We want to travel.
5) We decided the only thing holding us back was ourselves.

So, we have been living in a camper for the past two and a half months. We've definitely gotten some looks of concern and comments, but overall we feel very supported with this life change.

We had some goals with our time that we wanted to accomplish by now, but sometimes things take much longer than you allotted.

We have not been idle. Not only have we started adjusting to camper life, we got a puppy, have been making modifications to the camper, and Brandon has been fixing up the truck we are going to use to pull the camper. Last night he had the dashboard on the kitchen table... so you can imagine why we aren't going nearly as quickly as we hoped.

Well there you go! A quick update on what's going on in our life! Here's a picture of some mountains!
