So Brandon and I are starting to organize the things we need to do in order to be ready to go to Greece. Brandon has actually made a list of things to do! Since this is so out of the ordinary for him, you can definitely tell how excited he is. Another example of his excitement; every day Brandon looks at me with his big brown eyes and says with his goofy grin, "A few more days and we're going to be in GREECE!" He is also so enthusiastic that he's brushing up on his ancient Greek history... and making me study sheets/homework... a little nerdy... but I guess that's what I get for marrying a future professor of ancient history.
Some of the first things on my list of things to do is take baby sister to get her hair cut. Caroline's birthday was last week, and I offered to make a hair appointment (now I just have to try and keep her from chopping it all off, the tomboy). Therefore, Brandon and I are now spending the next three days in Berrien, just hanging out, shopping, and running errands.
The drive down from Kalamazoo was rather dreary, but dreary days always get a little better inside of the house, wrapped up in a blanket on the couch, watching the rain fall, and some birds flutter around.
Here are a few pictures of Brandon's parents house, and or rainy day. It was raining decently hard at this point in the day. Rainy days are so much nicer now that we have green growth and flowers outside... it makes it a little more majestic.
Brandon got a few shots of random household decorations. These are some of the things that make his parents house so homey to be in.
Charlie was super excited to see us. I think he's probably most content when everyone is home "where they belong". He has spent the whole afternoon following Brandon around, and looking up at everyone with his puppy dog eyes. He would rather be sitting/laying in the middle of everyone than laying on a couch somewhere, even if it's on the tile floor. Here he is laying in the kitchen while dinner is being prepared. I think he's a little sleepy from running around everyone when we first arrived.

So exciting to be going to Greece. Enjoy youselves tons and come back to tellt the stories. As I was looking at Charlie, I wondered if his eyes are the ones you were looking at when talking about Brandon earlier?
Much Love to both of you. Aunt June
