One more lazy day?

Today Brandon and I decided to stay around the hotel, pick up, and run to the market. Most of the day we spent at the pool. I actually got in and swam a few laps. All the other days I haven't gotten in because the pool is on the cool side. It's not covered at night, so any extra warmth it might pick up during the day evaporates at night. Today was particularly hot, and it was really refreshing to jump in.

We got pictures of each other swimming. Gee, look at that form. Aren't there canon ball contests? This calls for a blue ribbon. Not really, but I do look like I'm about to whirl into some serious kung fu!

I was actually a little surprised to see what my canon ball looks like. I've never seen it. I do remember being a little girl and falling in the water sideways. I've come a long way!

What a monster splash.... I've never won the biggest splash contest....

When I saw this picture I felt a little like a bond girl. These are the types of poses they do, isn't it?

Brandon got some good height! But I don't know whether to credit that to his literal height, or his good jumping skills. How about a combination of both.

He's even higher than the last picture! I think I could fit standing up between him and the water....

If you could see a close up of our faces right before we hit the water... Brandon and I have spent some time laughing over these.

Brandon wins Biggest Splash!

I thought if I was the Bond girl, he should be James Bond. But besides Daniel Craig, how often does Bond get out of his suit? Brandon would make a much more casual James Bond.
Our meal after swimming and running to the market! We have been eating about two or three tomatoes a day!

We picked up some water bottles when we went shopping. I feel like a baby drinking from a bottle like this! It's a 2 liter jug of water! It will keep us well hydrated, though. And that's the most important part.

Tomorrow Brandon and I are going to take the bus to Heraklion and visit the Archaeological Museum and the Venetian part of the town. We will have some more interesting pictures to put up! We are also going to visit the palace of Knossos, and we're super excited! We're doing research on the history tonight, so we will be well prepared tomorrow. Until then!
